Busbar is the point where both the transmission lines and distribution lines converge. So the protection of the busbar not only ensures the safety of grid stations but also the safe operation of transmission and distribution lines. Though busbar protection is the most critical relaying application, EPESOL provides a highly reliable, scalable & dependable algorithm for the protection of busbar. These relays consist of both high and low impedance, centralized and decentralized differential protection. With the capacity of protecting up to 24 feeders, EPESOL's microprocessor-based relays also provide three-pole breaker failure protection along with a monitoring and event recording facility with a fast and secure sub-cycle tripping time.
