Akhlaq Ahmad has been the visionary founder and CEO of EPESOL (Pvt.) Ltd.  Since its establishment in 2009. His unwavering commitment to transforming EPESOL into a multinational corporation continues to drive the company’s success and growth.

Prior to founding EPESOL, Akhlaq held the position of Business Manager for the Transmission and Distribution (T&D) division at Syed Bhais (Pvt.) Ltd. from 2001 to 2009. In this role, he was responsible for overseeing business operations, growth, and strategy.

Akhlaq’s dynamic leadership and innovative initiatives rapidly propelled Syed Bhais to the forefront of the market. Under his guidance, the company not only established its T&D business but also expanded into manufacturing distribution transformers, panels, and switchgear plants, alongside other successful ventures.

Before joining Syed Bhais, Akhlaq worked as a Senior Design Engineer at ABB, KSA, from 1998 to 2001. During this time, he played a key role in the completion of numerous 230 kV, 110 kV, and 66 kV substations. Earlier in his career, Akhlaq was appointed as Assistant Director for NTDC (National Transmission and Dispatch Company) in System Protection, a position he held for almost a decade following his graduation.

Akhlaq is an accomplished academic, holding a summa cum laude M.B.A. from Punjab University, a Master of Science in Electrical Power Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore, and a cum laude Bachelor of Science from UET, Lahore, Pakistan, earned in 1990. His extensive educational background and diverse professional experience make him a respected and influential leader in the engineering sector.
